Heather Trainor serves as the Human Resources Administrator for the Office of the Senior Vice Chancellor of Research. In this capacity, she is responsible for working with the units within Pitt Research on human resources activities including recruitment efforts, position management, performance management, and being the central point of contact for general human resources inquiries.

Heather has 16 years of experience at the University of Pittsburgh, working in business operations and human resources positions. Most recently, she was the HR Administrator for Pitt Business. Prior to that, she worked for the Department of Athletics.

She holds a B.S. in Marketing from Grove City College.
